Pray For Teeth - Swallow The Ground

The latest from San Francisco based black metal group Deafheaven is yet another 10 minute sprawling epic. Like “Dream House,” this title track from their forthcoming sophomore full length Sunbather takes the harsh sounds of black metal into a more uplifting and post-rock inspired direction. I love this track, it’s just as fulfilling to me as “Dream House” and I can only hope the full album is just as fulfilling. This is quite easily my most anticipated album of 2013.

Sunbather will be out on June 11th via Deathwish Inc.
